HONOLULU — February 23, 2026 — A bespoke menu that debuted last month in New York City, is returning to its roots. Created by celebrated culinarians Chef Adrian Solorzao and Chef Shaymus Alwin, the “From Waikiki to NYC: A Modern-Day Luau” made its premiere in two exclusive, sold-out dinners at the Platform by James Beard Foundation, where it captivated guests with its contemporary interpretation of island flavors. Now for a limited-time engagement, the menu will be featured from February 25 through March 8 (Wednesday through Sunday only) at the Beachhouse at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, and Azure Restaurant at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort.
From February 25 through March 1, Beachhouse Chef de Cuisine Adrian Solorzano will offer his three-course Modern-Day Luau menu for $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Cocktail pairings are also available. Reservations are available via OpenTable. This special menu will be presented alongside Chef Adrian's regular three- and four-course tasting menus.

“Bringing this celebrated experience home underscores the Moana Surfrider's role as a cultural and culinary landmark for 125 years,” says Moana Surfrider General Manager Thomas Foti. “In collaborating with the James Beard Foundation, we are showcasing the incredible evolution of Hawaii's foodways on a global stage. At The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, Executive Chef Shaymus Alwin's Modern-Day Luau selections are being featured on Azure Restaurant's four- and five-course menus with optional wine pairings from March 4 through 8. The cost is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity for the four-course menu; and $145 per person plus tax and gratuity for the five-course menu. Reservations can be made at OpenTable.
