 WISCONSIN DELLS #8 in U.S. NEWS “BEST VACATIONS” 2026 RANKING

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (Feb. 24, 2026) – Wisconsin Dells has once again been named an award winner in U.S. News & World Report's annual Best Family Vacations rankings. In fact, “The Waterpark Capital of the World!®” moved up one spot this year, from #9 on the 2025 list to #8 in 2026. The full rankings can be found on the U.S. News Travel website.

"Wisconsin Dells is a fantastic, year-round family destination, with indoor and outdoor water parks, museums and natural attractions that can easily fill a kid-approved itinerary,” said Elizabeth Von Tersch, senior travel editor at U.S. News. The Best Vacations evaluations identify the top destinations for travelers across a variety of categories. U.S. News travel editors thoroughly evaluate more than 1,500 destinations and score them based on multiple facets; users also vote on destinations within each ranking.
